Life is meant to be shared with others who care. God intends for us to be relational and experience life together. The Scriptures call this fellowship, and genuine fellowship is much more than just showing up at Sunday morning services. It means connecting and experiencing life together. It includes unselfish loving, honest sharing, sacrificial giving, practical serving, sympathetic comforting, and more “one another” experiences.
In our ‘ohana groups, people discover a sense of belonging, security, life-long friendships, and the power of faith, prayer and God’s Word. When it comes to fellowship, size matters … smaller is better. That’s why at New Hope Maui, we encourage you to get into a small group.
“For where two or three have gathered together in my name, I am there in their midst” (Matthew 18:20 NIV).
